Over the years we have hypnotized over a thousand clients for weight loss and have found that the reason most people fail is  that their approach is just too simplistic. Dieting ends in failure for most people because in the beginning your conscious uses willpower to avoid certain foods, but eventually your subconscious mind’s old habits (which almost always is stronger than your willpower) overcomes your desires and you find once again eating those old, fattening foods. And the weight comes back on.
There are many reasons for gaining weight. The most important are:

  • Mood and emotions (suppressing feelings with food, instant gratification/reward)
  • Self sabotage (a part of you sabotages your efforts because of what you feel like you deserve)
  • Habits (conditioned to eat in front of the TV, snacking when bored)
  • Quality of your diet (eating what you already know are the wrong foods)
  • Sensitivity to different foods (food allergies or food inconsistent with blood type)
  • Exercise level (lack of movement due to a lack of motivation)

Weight loss success must take into consideration these important factors. Diet and exercise programs alone are unable to do this, because the roots of your issue lie in the subconscious mind. Using hypnotherapy we release the old programming and teach you how to respond to feelings in a healthy, satisfying way – eliminating the old pattern of eating to avoid the feelings of boredom, stress, loneliness, anxiety, sadness, etc.
